Al subir la cuesta de Iroha, el propio trayecto se vuelve parte de la experiencia. En cada una de sus 48 curvas las vistas de montaña se abren poco a poco, hasta llegar a las cataratas de Kegon, donde el agua se precipita al fondo del desfiladero en una muestra de naturaleza a la vez poderosa y serena.
Más arriba, un teleférico te lleva al mirador de Akechidaira, con vistas amplias de la cascada, el lago Chuzenji y el monte Nantai. A los pies de la montaña, el lago Chuzenji refleja bosques y cielo en aguas quietas formadas por antiguas fuerzas volcánicas, con una sensación serena de escala y de tiempo detenido.

Ryūzu Falls
End the day at Ryūzu Falls, where the current splits around a central rock formation and cascades down in two streams resembling the head of a dragon.
