Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the YURAGI booking website and the experiences you book directly with YURAGI, operated by Willverse Co., Ltd. (“YURAGI”, “we”, “us”). By making a booking, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your party. Last updated: June 2026.
1. Bookings & the contract
A booking is a request to reserve places on an experience. Your contract with us is formed when you receive a confirmation (a confirmation code and/or voucher) for your booking. You are responsible for ensuring that the names, dates, contact details, and party size you provide are correct. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking, and you confirm you are authorised to act for everyone in your party.
2. Payment
For experiences booked directly with YURAGI, the full price is charged at the time of booking by secure card payment, processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout and are inclusive of applicable Japanese consumption tax unless stated otherwise. We do not store your full card details. If a payment is taken but your booking cannot be confirmed, we refund you in full.
3. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations and refunds for direct bookings are governed by our Booking Policy. In summary, you may cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before the experience start time; cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start time are non-refundable. Some experiences (for example bespoke or private multi-day itineraries) have their own terms, which take precedence. Bookings made through a third-party platform (such as Viator or GetYourGuide) are governed by that platform's own policy.
4. Changes by us
Experiences depend on factors outside our control, including weather, transport, venue access, and local conditions. We may adjust an itinerary, route, timing, guide, or included elements where reasonably necessary, and we will aim to preserve the overall character and value of the experience. If we must cancel an experience, we will offer a suitable alternative date or a full refund of amounts paid to us for that experience.
5. Your responsibilities & admission
Please arrive at the stated meeting point at the scheduled time; late arrivals may be treated as a no-show with no refund. You are responsible for your own travel documents, visas, and fitness to take part. Entry to shrines, temples, restaurants, and other venues is subject to those venues' own rules on conduct, dress, photography, and capacity. We may decline participation, without refund, to anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, or significantly disruptive to others or to the guide.
6. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that you hold comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings for the duration of your visit. Travel insurance is not included in the price of an experience.
7. Assumption of risk
Our experiences may involve walking, the use of public and private transport, outdoor environments, and activities with inherent risks. By taking part, you acknowledge and accept those ordinary risks for yourself and your party, and you agree to follow your guide's reasonable safety instructions.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from a booking will not exceed the amount you paid to us for that booking. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or independent services of third parties (such as venues, restaurants, or transport providers).
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against losses, claims, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of an experience, or your unlawful or negligent acts during an experience.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it to deliver your booking.
11. Intellectual property
The content on this website — including text, images, and the YURAGI name and marks — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without our permission.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking. The current version is always available on this page.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The courts of Japan, with the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
14. General
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your booking or your rights under these terms without our consent.
